William Ivers is based in the New York office and specializes in providing quality control services to client engagements. Working with both public and private companies, he performs the engagement quality review for SEC related engagements and employee benefit plan audits.
William has extensive experience reviewing financial statements in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and Generally Accepted Auditing Standards (GAAS). As a result of his in-depth quality control background, he is often asked to make recommendations for and verify the accuracy of the appropriate application of accounting principles. William’s specialty also includes helping businesses comply with the requirements of the Employee Retirement Income Security Act (ERISA). He serves as the New York office's Engagement Quality Reviewer.
As an internal trainer for continuing professional education courses, William shares his expertise on topics related to employee benefit plans and accounting pronouncements.
