Matthew is a Shareholder and co-leader of Metro New York's Not-for-Profit and Government Practice. A CPA, he has over 17 years of experience providing accounting, tax, and consulting services for the nonprofit industry.
His clients include social service agencies, schools, advocacy organizations, and publicly funded charities. Matthew spearheads his group’s go-to-market strategy for educational institutions, arts and cultural centers, and foundations.
Matthew was a 2020 honoree of the New York State Society of CPA’s “40 Under 40” award and a 2021 honoree of City & State New York’s “Nonprofit 40 Under 40” award.
He regularly publishes articles and leads training seminars on various accounting and auditing matters affecting the nonprofit industry.
Matthew has also written reports for his clients on topics including operating efficiencies and best practices, internal controls, financial reporting, and governance and has assisted with due diligence on nonprofit mergers and acquisitions.
