Clarence (Guy) O. Peterson IV

Guy is a Shareholder and Co-Attest Practice Leader for all of the New York offices that joined MHM in the 2022 acquisition of Marks Paneth. He is also part of the Professional Standards Group, which is responsible for monitoring quality control in the firm as mandated by professional standards. Guy has over 30 years of experience in accounting and auditing. His expertise includes Public Company Accounting Oversight Board (PCAOB) standards, internal controls over financial reporting (SOX), US Generally Accepted Auditing Standards (GAAS) and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS). Guy has performed engagement quality control reviews (EQCRs) and managed internal inspections, both domestically and globally. He has also helped to drive high-quality audits for external clients and coached engagement teams internally. Guy is based in the Purchase, NY office.
