Steve is the National Tax Practice Leader for CBIZ. Steve's responsibilities include developing and implementing strategies for the successful operation of the tax practice, including national support for the CBIZ MHM's local tax practices through the National Tax Office.

Mark Winiarski, CPA
Mark has 14 years of experience as an auditor and advisor. Located in our Kansas City office, he started his career serving audit clients primarily focused in the manufacturing, distribution, and technology industries. Mark is a member of MHM's Professional Standards Group specializing in accounting and auditing issues in areas including revenue recognition, inventory, accounting for income taxes, consolidations and business combinations. In this role, he teaches webinars and live classroom courses, writes accounting publications, and consults with audit engagement teams and clients.

Nate Vander Hamm
Nate is based in our Kansas City office and has over 20 years of experience in public accounting working with energy companies, manufacturing and distribution companies, investment companies, real estate companies and other diversified companies ranging from audits of public entities in the Fortune 500 to small private entities.

William M. Smith, Esq.
Bill Smith is a managing director in the CBIZ National Tax Office. Bill monitors federal tax legislation and consults nationally on a broad range of foreign and domestic tax services for businesses and individuals, including mergers and acquisitions, domestic and international investments or divestitures, and the review, negotiation and drafting of tax aspects of business agreements.
