Corley explores collaborative initiatives at BKR International's annual worldwide meeting

Steve Corley, Murrell, Hall, McIntosh & Co. PLLP (MHM) managing partner, recently attended the annual worldwide meeting of BKR International (BKR). BKR is a leading global association of independent accounting and business advisory firms. Corley participated in discussions on the opportunities of collaboration among accounting firms at the annual worldwide meeting of BKR International.

“Collaboration is one of the most important things in the accounting industry,” Corley said. “We learned the importance of collaboration among functional groups and organizations, as well as how these efforts will help our firms become more productive and innovative while providing greater service to our clients.”

The annual meeting was held Oct. 20-23, 2007, in Berlin, Germany. Over 100 partners, representing 64 accounting firms from around the world attended the conference. Meeting attendees learned about a broad spectrum of technical and management issues, organizational learning concepts and techniques, insolvency restructuring case studies and a session on improving intelligence and personal and team effectiveness.
